Since March, climate change has severely impacted LP4Y Centers and communities in the most excluded slums. Extreme heat waves, monsoon floods, and tropical cyclones have exposed Youth & Catalysts to unprecedented dangers.
- Heat Waves in New Delhi: With temperatures between 45°C and 52°C, New Delhi is on red alert. Our Center closes in the afternoons due to the intense heat.
- Monsoon Floods in Indonesia: Flooding in Cilincing has caused daily power and water cuts, making facilities unusable.
- Cyclones in the Philippines and India: Typhoon Ewiniar and Cyclone Remal have caused extensive damage, flooding, and power outages in our Centers.
Your contributions will help us implement emergency and security plans to protect Youth & Catalysts from these climate crisis impacts.
