At the occasion of their 40th birthday, Jean-Baptiste Decaix and Damien Ricour-Dumas decided to run the “Transquadra”, a regatta for 40+ year-old sailors. Willing to give a broader dimension to their project, both skippers chose to race for LP4Y !
Happy 4 LP4Y was born - a beautiful boat and a fantastic adventure for the 2 sailors.
The regatta took place in 2 steps :
- Lorient, France – Madère, Portugal in July 2017.
- Madère, Portugal – Martinique, Antilles : February 2018.
Through fantastic communication efforts, Jean-Baptise and Damien created awareness for LP4Y among their network and raised €3,700 !
The whole LP4Y team - Youth and Volunteers - followed the race with great attention and send their warm thanks to the 2 skippers! Congratulations !!!
